A small restaurant in the north of Lithuania needed a renovation. Tobula was there to help.

One of the task conditions was to keep the old furniture. To bring new winds into the place, we proposed an eclectic style - matching the existing classical elements with modern ones.

The paintings for the restaurant were specially made by a local artist Monika ZajarskienÄ—.

The height of the ceiling is a bit too low for a space of this size. To make the room feel more spacious several rounded mirrors were designed to be fitted on the ceiling. The space underneath them also became a great place to take selfies.

We propose to renovate part of the upholstery and bring out the wood texture of the tables. The new upholsterers were chosen to suit the existing blue ones.

The bar was repainted with bold and the same time calm color - blue.

The cold tones of the new color palette - white, blue, and grey are balanced out with warm ash wood tables.

An accent lighting was fitted into the bar to enhance the façade of the bar.

A horizontal line created by different color shades is going above the window. It helps to blur the start of the ceiling making the space feel airier.

The old bar shelves were replaced with new glass and special wine shelving. They are framed in iconic wooden arch shapes.

The back of the shelves is made from mirror which extended the space. Combined with the mirrors on the ceiling they give a double effect. Also, they mirror the surroundings outside - a beautiful small city Pasvalys.
